해저광물자원 개발법 제26조(보고 및 조사)

① 해저조광권자는 제17조의2에 따른 자료 취득현황 및 해저광업활동의 진행상황을 산업통상부장관에게 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

② 산업통상부장관은 제1항에 따른 자료 취득현황 및 해저광업활동의 진행상황을 확인하기 위하여 소속 공무원에게 현장조사를 하게 할 수 있다. 이 경우 필요하다고 인정하면 관련 전문가를 현장조사에 참여시킬 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

③ 산업통상부장관은 제2항에 따라 현장조사를 하는 경우에는 조사 7일 전까지 조사의 일시, 이유 및 내용 등을 포함한 조사계획을 조사를 받을 자에게 알려 주어야 한다. 다만, 긴급한 경우이거나 사전에 알리면 관련 자료 등을 파기할 우려가 있는 등 조사 목적을 달성할 수 없다고 인정되는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

④ 제1항에 따른 보고 및 제2항에 따른 조사에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
