해양재난구조대의 설치 및 운영에 관한 법률 제3조(해양재난구조대의 설치 등)

① 해양경찰청장은 해수면에서 해양경찰의 수난구호 및 조난사고의 대응과 예방 활동에 관한 업무를 지원하기 위하여 해양재난구조대를 설치할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따른 해양재난구조대는 각 해양경찰서가 위치한 광역시ㆍ도ㆍ특별자치도, 시ㆍ읍 또는 면에 둔다.

③ 제1항에 따른 해양경찰청장의 권한은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 소속기관의 장에게 위임할 수 있다.
