해양수산과학기술 육성법 제21조(해양수산과학기술의 국제협력)

① 해양수산부장관은 국제적인 해양수산과학기술의 발전에 기여하고 국내 해양수산과학기술의 수준을 향상시킬 수 있도록 외국의 정부, 해양수산 관련 국제기구 및 외국의 연구개발 기관ㆍ단체 등과 협력하여 다음 각 호의 사업을 할 수 있다. 이 경우 해양수산부장관은 국내 해양수산 관련 연구개발 기관ㆍ단체 등을 공동으로 참여하게 할 수 있다.

② 해양수산부장관은 제1항 각 호의 사업에 공동으로 참여하는 국내 해양수산 관련 연구개발 기관ㆍ단체 등에 대하여 예산의 범위에서 필요한 지원을 할 수 있다.
