해양경찰청과 그 소속기관 직제 제20조(해양경찰연구센터)

① 해양에서의 경찰 및 오염방제 업무에 관한 연구ㆍ분석ㆍ장비개발 등에 관한 사무를 관장하기 위하여 해양경찰교육원장 소속으로 해양경찰연구센터(이하 "연구센터"라 한다)를 둔다.

② 연구센터에 센터장 1명을 두며, 센터장은 4급으로 보한다.

(2) One원 Director더^r렉터 shall섈 be비 placed플레이스트 in인 the^ð더 Research^r리서치 Center,센터 and앤드 the^ð더 Director더^r렉터 shall섈 be비 of어^v브 Grade그^r레이드 4.

③ 센터장은 해양경찰교육원장의 명을 받아 소관사무를 총괄하고, 소속 공무원을 지휘ㆍ감독한다.

(3) The^ð더 Director더^r렉터 shall,섈 under언더 the^ð더 direction더^r렉션 of어^v브 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 of어^v브 the^ð더 Korea코^r리아 Coast코우스트 Guard가드 Academy,어캐더미 oversee오우^v버시 the^ð디 affairs어^f페어즈 under언더 the^ð더 Director's더^r렉터즈 jurisdiction주^r러스딕션 and앤드 direct더^r렉트 and앤드 supervise수퍼^v바이즈 the^ð더 staff스태^f프 public퍼블릭 officials.어^f피실즈

④ 「행정기관의 조직과 정원에 관한 통칙」 제12조제3항 및 제14조제4항에 따라 연구센터에 두는 보좌기관 또는 보조기관은 해양경찰청의 소속기관(해양경찰정비창은 제외한다)에 두는 정원의 범위에서 해양수산부령으로 정한다.
