항공보안법 제22조(기장 등의 권한)

① 기장이나 기장으로부터 권한을 위임받은 승무원(이하 "기장등"이라 한다) 또는 승객의 항공기 탑승 관련 업무를 지원하는 항공운송사업자 소속 직원 중 기장의 지원요청을 받은 사람은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 행위를 하려는 사람에 대하여 그 행위를 저지하기 위한 필요한 조치를 할 수 있다. <개정 2013.4.5>

(1) The^ð더 captain,캡튼 a어 crew크^r루 member멤버 delegated델러게이티드 authority어^θ쏘^r러티 by바이 the^ð더 captain캡튼 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 "captain,캡튼 etc."),엣세터^r러 or오 an앤 employee엠플로이이 of어^v브 an앤 air에어 transport트^r랜스포트 operator아퍼^r레이터 who후 supports서포츠 work워크 related^r릴레이티드 to투 passengers'패선저즈 boarding보딩 and앤드 has해즈 been빈 requested^r리퀘스티드 for^f포 support서포트 by바이 the^ð더 captain캡튼 may메이 take테이크 necessary네서세^r리 measures메저즈 to투 stop스탑 a어 person퍼슨 who후 intends인텐즈 to투 commit커밋 any에니 of어^v브 the^ð더 following^f팔로잉 acts:액츠

② 항공기 내에 있는 사람은 제1항에 따른 조치에 관하여 기장등의 요청이 있으면 협조하여야 한다.

(2) Persons퍼슨즈 aboard어보드 an앤 aircraft에어크^r래^f프트 shall섈 cooperate코아퍼^r레잇 when웬 requested^r리퀘스티드 by바이 the^ð더 captain,캡튼 etc.엣세터^r러 regarding^r리가딩 measures메저즈 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1).

③ 기장등은 제1항 각 호의 행위를 한 사람을 체포한 경우에 항공기가 착륙하였을 때에는 체포된 사람이 그 상태로 계속 탑승하는 것에 동의하거나 체포된 사람을 항공기에서 내리게 할 수 없는 사유가 있는 경우를 제외하고는 체포한 상태로 이륙하여서는 아니 된다.

④ 기장으로부터 권한을 위임받은 승무원 또는 승객의 항공기 탑승 관련 업무를 지원하는 항공운송사업자 소속 직원 중 기장의 지원요청을 받은 사람이 제1항에 따른 조치를 할 때에는 기장의 지휘를 받아야 한다.
