한국장학재단 설립 등에 관한 법률 제9조(임원)

① 재단에는 임원으로서 이사장을 포함한 15명 이내의 이사와 감사 1명을 둔다.

② 이사장은 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 제29조에 따라 재단에 두는 임원추천위원회가 복수로 추천한 사람 중에서 교육부장관의 제청으로 대통령이 임명한다. <개정 2010.12.27, 2013.3.23>

③ 이사장을 제외한 임원의 임명은 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 및 정관으로 정하는 바에 따른다. <개정 2010.12.27>

④ 이사장의 임기는 3년으로 하고 이사와 감사의 임기는 2년으로 하되, 각각 1년 단위로 연임할 수 있다.

⑤ 이사장, 3명 이내의 이사 및 감사 1명을 제외한 임원은 비상임으로 하며, 비상임 임원에게는 보수를 지급하지 아니한다. 다만, 실비변상은 할 수 있다.
