특수임무유공자 예우 및 단체설립에 관한 법률 제15조(수업료등의 면제 등)

① 교육기관은 교육지원 대상자에 대하여 교육에 필요한 수업료, 입학금 및 그 밖의 학비(이하 "수업료등"이라 한다)를 면제한다. <개정 2015.12.22, 2016.5.29>

(1) Educational에저케이셔늘 institutions인스티투션즈 shall섈 exempt이그젬프트 persons퍼슨즈 eligible엘러저블 for^f포 educational에저케이셔늘 support서포트 from^f프^r럼 tuition,튜이션 admission애드미션 fees,^f피즈 and앤드 other어^ð더 school스쿨 expenses익스펜시즈 necessary네서세^r리 for^f포 education에저케이션 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 "tuition,튜이션 etc.").엣세터^r러

② 제1항에 따른 수업료등의 면제는 교육지원 대상자가 제6조제2항에 따라 특수임무유공자, 그 유족 또는 가족으로 등록결정된 후 교육기관의 장에게 수업료등을 면제하여 줄 것을 신청한 날이 속하는 달부터 실시한다. 다만, 교육기관 중 대학, 원격대학 형태의 평생교육시설 및 전문대학 이상의 학위 취득에 필요한 학점이 인정되는 학습과정을 운영하는 교육훈련기관(이하 "대학등"이라 한다)의 경우에는 교육지원 대상자가 수업료등의 면제를 신청한 후 최초로 납부기한이 도래하는 수업료등부터 면제한다. <개정 2009.1.30, 2011.8.4, 2015.12.22>

③ 사립인 대학등이 제11조제1항제3호 또는 제4호에 해당하는 교육지원 대상자에 대하여 제1항과 제2항에 따라 수업료등을 면제한 경우 국가는 그 면제금액의 절반을 보조한다. <개정 2015.12.22>

④ 국가는 교육지원 대상자가 특수임무유공자, 그 유족 또는 가족으로 등록을 신청한 후 제2항에 따라 수업료등을 면제받기 전까지 실제로 부담한 수업료등에 해당하는 금액을 지원할 수 있다. 다만, 다른 법령에 따라 수업료등에 해당하는 금액을 국고보조(國庫補助) 받는 등 대통령령으로 정하는 사유가 있는 경우에는 그에 해당하는 금액은 지원하지 아니한다. <개정 2011.8.4, 2015.12.22>

⑤ 제1항부터 제4항까지의 규정에 따라 교육지원 대상자에게 수업료등을 면제하거나 지원하는 연한(年限), 기준 및 교육지원을 실시하는 교육기관에 대한 보조 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
