통합방위법 제8조(통합방위본부)

① 합동참모본부에 통합방위본부를 둔다.

(1) An앤 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Headquarters헤드쿼터즈 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 in인 the^ð더 Joint조인트 Chiefs치^f프스 of어^v브 Staff.스태^f프

② 통합방위본부에는 본부장과 부본부장 1명씩을 두되, 통합방위본부장은 합동참모의장이 되고 부본부장은 합동참모본부에서 군사작전에 대한 기획 등 작전 업무를 총괄하는 참모 부서의 장이 된다. <개정 2024.1.16>

(2) The^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Headquarters헤드쿼터즈 shall섈 have해^v브 one원 Chief치^f프 and앤드 one원 Deputy데퓨티 Chief,치^f프 where웨어 the^ð더 Chief치^f프 of어^v브 the^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Headquarters헤드쿼터즈 shall섈 be비 the^ð더 Chairman체어먼 of어^v브 the^ð더 Joint조인트 Chiefs치^f프스 of어^v브 Staff스태^f프 and앤드 the^ð더 Deputy데퓨티 Chief치^f프 shall섈 be비 the^ð더 head헤드 of어^v브 the^ð더 staff스태^f프 department디파트먼트 in인 charge차지 of어^v브 operational아퍼^r레이셔늘 affairs,어^f페어즈 such서치 as애즈 planning플래닝 of어^v브 military밀러테^r리 operations,아퍼^r레이션즈 in인 the^ð더 Joint조인트 Chiefs치^f프스 of어^v브 Staff.스태^f프

③ 통합방위본부는 다음 각 호의 사무를 분장한다.

(3) The^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Headquarters헤드쿼터즈 shall섈 take테이크 charge차지 of어^v브 the^ð더 following^f팔로잉 affairs:어^f페어즈

④ 통합방위본부에 통합방위에 관한 정부 내 업무 협조와 그 밖에 통합방위 업무의 원활한 수행을 위하여 통합방위 실무위원회(이하 "실무위원회"라 한다)를 둔다.

(4) An앤 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Working워킹 Committee커미티 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð더 "Working워킹 Committee")커미티 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 in인 the^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Defense디^f펜스 Headquarters헤드쿼터즈 for^f포 cooperation코아퍼^r레이션 on안 integrated인터그^r레이티드 defense디^f펜스 matters매터즈 within위^ð딘 the^ð더 Government거^v버먼트 and앤드 the^ð더 smooth스무^ð드 performance퍼^f포먼스 of어^v브 other어^ð더 integrated인터그^r레이티드 defense디^f펜스 affairs.어^f페어즈

⑤ 실무위원회의 구성 및 운영 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.

(5) Matters매터즈 necessary네서세^r리 for^f포 the^ð더 composition,캄퍼지션 operation,아퍼^r레이션 etc.엣세터^r러 of어^v브 the^ð더 Working워킹 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 Presidential프^r레저덴실 Decree.디크^r리
