지방의료원의 설립 및 운영에 관한 법률 제17조(보조금 등)

① 국가는 공공보건의료 시책을 수행하기 위하여 필요한 경우에는 지방의료원의 설립, 시설ㆍ장비 확충 및 우수 의료인력 확보 등 공공보건의료사업에 드는 경비의 일부를 예산의 범위에서 지원할 수 있다.

② 지방자치단체는 지방의료원의 설립에 드는 경비를 출연(出捐)하거나 운영에 필요한 경비를 보조할 수 있다.

③ 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 지방의료원이 제7조제1항제2호 및 제4호부터 제7호까지의 사업과 「공공보건의료에 관한 법률」 제17조제1항에 따른 원칙을 준수하는 데에 드는 비용을 조사할 수 있다. <신설 2015.1.28>

④ 국가와 지방자치단체는 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 경비를 지원하거나 출연ㆍ보조할 때 제3항에 따라 조사된 비용을 고려하여 지원의 규모 등을 조정할 수 있다. <신설 2015.1.28>

⑤ 개인ㆍ법인 또는 단체는 지방의료원의 사업을 지원하기 위하여 지방의료원에 금전이나 그 밖의 재산을 기부할 수 있다. <개정 2015.1.28>
