① 지방문화원은 지방문화원의 균형발전과 지방문화원 간의 상호협조 및 공동이익 증진을 위하여 문화체육관광부장관의 인가를 받아 한국문화원연합회(이하 "연합회"라 한다)를 설립할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29>

④ 연합회는 지방문화원 간의 업무 협조와 제3항 각 호의 사업을 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 시ㆍ도에 지회(支會)를 설치할 수 있다. <개정 2018.10.16, 2020.6.9>

⑥ 연합회에 대하여는 정치관여 등의 금지에 관한 제11조를 준용한다.
