지방교육자치에 관한 법률 제48조(투표용지의 후보자 게재순위 등)

① 투표용지에는 후보자의 성명을 표시하여야 하며, 후보자의 성명은 왼쪽부터 오른쪽으로 열거하여 한글로 기재한다. 다만, 한글로 표시된 성명이 같은 후보자가 있는 경우에는 괄호 안에 한자를 함께 기재한다. <개정 2014.2.13>

② 선거구선거관리위원회는 후보자등록마감 후에 후보자나 그 대리인을 현장에 출석시켜 추첨으로 후보자의 투표용지 게재순위를 결정하되, 그 추첨을 시작하는 시각까지 후보자나 그 대리인이 현장에 출석하지 아니한 경우에는 해당 선거구선거관리위원회 위원장이나 그가 지명한 사람이 해당 후보자를 대리하여 추첨한다.

③ 제2항에 따른 투표용지의 후보자 게재순위는 중앙선거관리위원회규칙으로 정하는 바에 따라 자치구ㆍ시ㆍ군의회의원지역선거구(제주특별자치도는 제주특별자치도의회의원지역선거구를, 세종특별자치시는 세종특별자치시의회의원지역선거구를 말한다)별로 후보자의 투표용지 게재순위가 공평하게 배정될 수 있도록 순차적으로 바꾸어 가는 순환배열 방식으로 결정한다. <신설 2014.2.13>

④ 후보자등록기간이 지난 후에 후보자가 사퇴ㆍ사망하거나 등록이 무효로 된 때라도 투표용지에 해당 후보자의 성명은 그대로 둔다. <개정 2014.2.13>
