지방공기업법 제63조(직원의 임면)

① 공사의 직원은 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 사장이 임면한다.

② 공사의 직원은 시험성적, 근무성적, 그 밖의 능력의 실증(實證)에 따라 임용되어야 한다.

③ 공사의 사장은 직원의 채용절차와 방법 등에 관한 사항을 사전에 규정하고, 직원의 채용 시에는 공고 등을 통하여 구체적인 절차와 방법 등을 공개하여야 한다. <신설 2020.10.20>

④ 공사의 사장이 직원을 채용하는 경우 공개경쟁시험으로 채용하는 것을 원칙으로 하고, 임직원의 가족 또는 임직원과 이해관계가 있는 등 채용의 공정성을 해칠 우려가 있는 사람을 특별히 우대하여 채용하여서는 아니 된다. <신설 2020.10.20>
