중소기업은행법 제48조(보고서의 제출, 서류의 검사)

① 금융위원회는 제46조에 따른 감독업무를 할 때 필요하다고 인정하면 중소기업은행에 보고서의 제출을 명하고, 소속 공무원 또는 금융감독원의 소속 직원으로 하여금 중소기업은행의 업무상황 또는 장부ㆍ서류나 그 밖에 필요한 물건을 검사하게 할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 검사하는 사람은 그 권한을 표시하는 증표를 지니고 이를 관계인에게 내보여야 한다.

③ 중소벤처기업부장관은 필요하다고 인정하면 금융위원회에 제1항에서 정하는 보고서의 제출과 서류 등의 검사를 요청할 수 있다. <개정 2017.7.26>

④ 금융위원회는 필요하다고 인정하면 제1항에 따른 검사 업무를 금융감독원장에게 위탁할 수 있다.

⑤ 금융감독원의 검사를 받는 중소기업은행은 검사비용에 충당하기 위한 분담금을 금융감독원에 내야 한다.
