전남광주통합특별시 설치를 위한 특별법 제6조(다른 법률과의 관계 등)

① 이 법은 통합특별시의 조직ㆍ운영, 중앙행정기관의 권한 이양 및 규제 완화 등에 관하여 다른 법률에 우선하여 적용한다. 다만, 다른 법률에 통합특별시에 관하여 특별한 규정이 있는 경우에는 그 법률에서 정하는 바에 따른다.

② 이 법에서 중앙행정기관의 장 등의 권한을 전남광주통합특별시장(이하 "통합특별시장"이라 한다)과 전남광주통합특별시교육감(이하 "통합특별시교육감"이라 한다)의 권한(이양되는 권한과 관련된 의무ㆍ원칙ㆍ기준 및 절차 등을 포함한다. 이하 같다)으로 한 경우 통합특별시장과 통합특별시교육감의 권한은 해당 법령에서 정한 중앙행정기관의 장 등의 권한으로 보아 해당 법령을 적용한다. 중앙행정기관의 장 등에 해당하는 사항을 통합특별시장과 통합특별시교육감에 해당하는 사항으로 한 경우에도 또한 같다.
