Special Act on the Establishment of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, Article 349 (Promotion of Culture and the Arts)

① 통합특별시장은 지역 간의 문화 격차를 해소하고 지역별로 특색 있는 고유문화를 발전시키기 위하여 5년마다 문화예술진흥계획(이하 "진흥계획"이라 한다)을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다.

(1) The^ð더 Mayor메이어 of어^v브 the^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Special스페실 City시티 shall섈 formulate^f포뮬레잇 and앤드 implement임플러먼트 every에^v버^r리 five^f파이^v브 years이어즈 a어 culture컬처 and앤드 arts아츠 promotion프^r러모우션 plan플랜 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð더 "promotion프^r러모우션 plan"),플랜 in인 order오더 to투 eliminate일리머네잇 cultural컬처^r럴 disparities디스페^r러티즈 among어멍 regions^r리전즈 and앤드 develop디^v벨럽 distinctive디스팅크티^v브 unique유닉 cultures컬처즈 in인 each이치 region.^r리전

② 진흥계획에는 다음 각 호의 사항이 포함되어야 한다.

③ 통합특별시장은 진흥계획을 수립하기 위하여 관계 중앙행정기관의 장 및 지방자치단체의 장에게 관련 자료의 제출을 요청할 수 있다.

(3) To투 formulate^f포뮬레잇 the^ð더 promotion프^r러모우션 plan,플랜 the^ð더 Mayor메이어 of어^v브 the^ð디 Integrated인터그^r레이티드 Special스페실 City시티 may메이 request^r리퀘스트 the^ð더 heads헤즈 of어^v브 relevant^r렐러^v번트 central센트^r럴 administrative어드미너스트^r레이티^v브 agencies에이전시즈 and앤드 the^ð더 heads헤즈 of어^v브 local로우클 governments거^v버먼츠 to투 submit서브밋 related^r릴레이티드 data.데이타

④ 진흥계획을 수립할 때에는 「지역문화진흥법」 제6조의2에 따른 시ㆍ도 지역문화협력위원회의 심의를 거쳐야 한다.

⑤ 국가는 통합특별시 문화의 진흥을 위하여 필요한 경우 문화진흥사업을 하는 자에게 필요한 예산을 지원할 수 있다.

⑥ 진흥계획 중 제2항제7호에 따른 사항이 반영된 부분은 「지역문화진흥법」 제6조제4항에 따른 지역문화진흥을 위한 시행계획으로 본다.
