재외국민보호를 위한 영사조력법 시행령 제17조(해외위난상황 발생 시의 영사조력)

① 법 제16조제2항에 따라 파견된 신속대응팀(이하 "신속대응팀"이라 한다)이 담당하는 영사조력의 구체적인 내용은 다음 각 호와 같다. <개정 2023.9.12>

② 외교부장관은 해외위난상황의 경우에 현지에서 재외국민이 자력으로 이용 가능한 다른 이동수단이 없거나 부족하다고 판단되면 관계 행정기관과 협의하여 법 제16조제2항에 따라 항공기, 선박 및 차량 등 적절한 이동 수단을 투입할 수 있다.

③ 재외공관의 장은 해외위난상황에 관하여 주재국으로부터 피해 보상대책을 통보받은 경우 이를 해당 재외공관 인터넷 홈페이지 및 그 밖의 방법을 통하여 알리도록 노력해야 한다.
