재외국민보호를 위한 영사조력법 시행령 제16조(재외국민 실종 시의 영사조력)

재외공관의 장은 법 제15조제1항에도 불구하고 재외국민 실종 시 가족 등 연고자가 직접 주재국 경찰기관에 신고를 할 수 없는 합리적인 이유가 있다고 판단하는 경우에는 주재국 관계 기관에 관련 자료를 전달하여 주재국 관계 법령에 따른 신고를 하거나 신속한 소재파악을 요청할 수 있다.
