자연유산의 보존 및 활용에 관한 법률 제21조(신고)

① 천연기념물 또는 명승의 소유자등은 해당 천연기념물 또는 명승에 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사유가 발생하면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 사실과 경위를 국가유산청장에게 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 제17조제1항 각 호 외의 부분 단서에 따라 허가를 받고 그 행위를 착수하거나 완료한 경우에는 특별자치시장, 특별자치도지사, 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2024.2.13>

② 천연기념물로 지정된 동물의 종[아종(亞種)을 포함한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다]을 국외로부터 수입ㆍ반입하는 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 국가유산청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2024.2.13>

③ 제1항에 따른 신고를 하는 때에는 같은 항 제1호의 경우 소유자와 관리자가, 같은 항 제2호의 경우에는 신ㆍ구 소유자가 각각 신고서에 함께 서명하여야 한다.

④ 국가유산청장은 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 신고사항과 관련하여 관계 중앙행정기관, 공공기관 등 관련 기관의 장에게 필요한 자료 또는 정보의 제공을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 자료 또는 정보의 제공을 요청받은 기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <개정 2024.2.13>

⑤ 역사문화환경 보존지역에서 건설공사를 시행하는 자는 해당 역사문화환경 보존지역에서 제17조제1항 각 호 외의 부분에 따라 허가(변경허가를 포함한다)를 받고 허가받은 사항을 착수 또는 완료한 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 사실과 경위를 국가유산청장에게 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 제17조제1항 각 호 외의 부분 단서에 따라 허가를 받고 그 행위를 착수하거나 완료한 경우에는 특별자치시장, 특별자치도지사, 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2024.2.13>
