의무경찰대 설치 및 운영에 관한 법률 시행령 제57조(부상자등의 치료)

① 의무경찰이 법 제8조제2항에 따라 치료를 받으려는 경우에는 별지 제5호서식에 따른 치료신청서에 별지 제6호서식에 따른 부상(질병)확인서를 첨부하여 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 자에게 제출하여야 한다. 다만, 경미한 부상(질병)의 치료신청은 치료를 받으려는 의료시설의 장에게 직접 제출할 수 있다. <개정 2015.11.20>

②제1항의 치료신청서를 받은 중앙관서의 장 또는 지방자치단체의 장은 지체없이 의료시설을 지정하여 별지 제7호서식에 의하여 신청자에게 통보하여야 한다. <개정 2015.6.30>

③제1항에도 불구하고 의무경찰이 공무수행 중 상이를 입은 경우에는 군의료시설에서 응급처치를 받을 수 있다. <개정 2015.11.20>

④치료비용은 국가 또는 해당 지방자치단체의 부담으로 한다. 다만, 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장은 경찰병원 이외의 국가의료시설에서 의무경찰을 치료시키고자 할 때에는 미리 치료할 환자의 수와 치료비에 관한 예산편성 기타 필요한 사항에 대하여 주무부장관과 협의하여야 한다. <개정 1991.7.30, 1996.8.8, 2014.11.19, 2015.6.30, 2015.11.20, 2017.7.26>
