Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Conscripted Police Units, Article 5 (Method of Selecting Prospective Conscripted Police Appointees and Conducting Examinations)

① 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장은 병역준비역에 해당하는 사람 중에서 지원자를 대상으로 공개선발시험을 실시하여 의무경찰 임용예정자를 선발하여야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2015.11.20, 2016.11.29, 2017.7.26>

② 의무경찰 임용예정자 공개선발시험(이하 "의무경찰 선발시험"이라 한다)은 다음 각 호의 구분에 따라 순차적으로 실시한다. 다만, 제3차시험 또는 제4차시험은 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장이 필요하다고 인정할 때에만 실시한다. <개정 2015.11.20, 2017.7.26>
