유류오염손해배상 보장법 제54조(보장계약정보)

① 국외의 지역에 있는 항으로부터 국내항으로 입항하려는 특정선박(200톤 이상의 산적 유류 운송용으로 제공되는 유조선 또는 총톤수 1천톤을 초과하는 일반선박을 말한다. 이하 이 장에서 같다)의 선장은 해양수산부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 미리 특정선박의 명칭, 선적항(船籍港), 이 법에 따른 보장계약 또는 손해배상 보장계약 체결유무 등 해양수산부령으로 정한 사항(이하 "보장계약정보"라 한다)을 해양수산부장관에게 통보하여야 한다. 통보한 보장계약정보를 변경하려는 경우에도 또한 같다. <개정 2013.3.23>

② 제1항에도 불구하고 특정선박의 선장은 악천후, 조난, 그 밖의 해양수산부령으로 정하는 사유 등 부득이한 사유로 보장계약정보를 입항하기 전에 해양수산부장관에게 통보할 수 없는 경우에는 해양수산부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 입항한 후에 즉시 보장계약정보를 통보하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

③ 제1항과 제2항에 따른 보장계약정보의 통보는 해당 특정선박의 선박소유자 또는 그 대리인도 할 수 있다.
