Nuclear Safety Act, Article 47 (Inspection)
① 핵연료물질사용자는 핵연료물질의 사용 또는 소지, 특정핵물질의 계량관리에 관한 사항을 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 위원회의 검사를 받아야 한다. 다만, 핵연료물질사용자의 안전관리능력이 우수하다고 위원회가 인정하는 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 검사를 면제할 수 있다. <개정 2026.5.19>
(1) A nuclear fuel material user shall undergo inspection by the Commission on the use or possession of nuclear fuel material and on material accounting and control of specified nuclear material, as prescribed by Presidential Decree: Provided, That where the Commission recognizes that the safety management capability of the nuclear fuel material user is excellent, the inspection may be exempted, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.
② 위원회는 제1항에 따른 검사결과 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하면 핵연료물질사용자에게 그 시정 또는 보완을 명할 수 있다.
(2) Where, as a result of the inspection under paragraph (1), any of the following applies, the Commission may order the nuclear fuel material user to correct or supplement:
1. 제46조에 따른 허가기준 및 제50조제1항에 따른 기술기준에 미달될 때
1. Where the permit standards under Article 46 and the technical standards under Article 50 (1) are not met; and
2. 제45조제2항에 따른 허가신청서의 첨부서류에 기재된 내용과 일치하지 아니하거나 제51조에서 준용하는 제15조에 따른 계량관리규정에 위반될 때
2. Where there is an inconsistency with the contents stated in the documents attached to the permit application under Article 45 (2) or a violation of the material accounting and control rules under Article 15, which applies mutatis mutandis under Article 51.
