우편법 시행규칙 제54조(발송후의 내용증명 청구)

①내용증명우편물의 발송인 또는 수취인은 내용증명우편물을 발송한 다음 날부터 3년까지는 우체국에 특수우편물수령증ㆍ주민등록증등의 관계자료를 내보여 동 우편물의 발송인 또는 수취인임을 입증하고 내용증명의 재증명을 청구할 수 있다. <개정 2018.2.19>

② 제1항에 따른 재증명 청구인은 우체국에서 보관 중인 최초의 내용문서 등본과 같은 등본을 우체국에 제출하여야 하며, 재증명 청구를 받은 우체국은 청구인이 제출한 내용문서를 재증명하여 내주어야 한다. 다만, 청구인이 분실 등의 사유로 내용문서를 제출하기 어려운 경우에는 우체국에서 보관 중인 내용문서를 복사한 후 재증명하여 내줄 수 있다. <개정 2018.2.19>

③제49조ㆍ제50조ㆍ제52조제1항 내지 제3항 및 제53조의 규정은 제1항의 규정에 의한 재증명의 청구에 관하여 이를 준용한다.
