용산공원 조성 특별법 제1조(목적)

이 법은 「대한민국과 미합중국 간의 미합중국군대의 서울지역으로부터의 이전에 관한 협정」 및 「대한민국과 미합중국 간의 연합토지관리계획협정」에 근거하여 대한민국에 반환되는 미합중국군대의 용산부지 등을 활용하여 국가의 책임하에 공원 등을 조성ㆍ관리하고 그 주변지역을 체계적으로 정비하기 위하여 필요한 사항을 규정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
