연구직 및 지도직공무원의 임용 등에 관한 규정 제25조(시험의 방법 등)

① 연구관 및 지도관으로의 일반 승진시험은 제1차시험(연구관으로의 일반 승진시험의 경우에는 제1차시험을 면제한다)과 제2차시험으로 구분하여 선택형(기입형을 포함할 수 있다)으로 실시하되, 인사혁신처장이 필요하다고 인정하면 면접시험이나 실기시험을 실시할 수 있다. 다만, 인사혁신처장은 제2차시험에 대하여 소속 장관이 요구할 때에는 해당 소속 기관의 시험을 논문형(주관식 단답형을 포함할 수 있다)으로 실시할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19>

② 소속 장관은 제1항에 따른 시험방법을 변경하려면 시험요구일 1년 전에 그 변경을 요구하여야 한다.

④ 연구사나 지도사가 임용예정직과 관련된 분야의 박사학위를 소지하고 일반 승진시험에 응시하는 경우와 연구관이나 지도관의 경력경쟁채용시험등에서 필기시험이 면제되는 자격증을 소지하고 일반승진시험에 응시하는 경우에는 제1항에도 불구하고 서류전형과 면접시험의 방법으로 시험을 시행할 수 있다. <개정 2011.11.1>

⑤ 임용권자는 연구직 및 지도직공무원을 승진시험을 거쳐 승진임용할 때에는 제1항에 따른 시험을 거쳐 승진임용하는 인원과 제4항에 따른 시험을 거쳐 승진임용하는 인원 간에 적절한 균형이 유지되도록 하여야 한다.

⑥ 연구관이나 지도관으로의 전직시험에 관하여는 제1항 본문을 준용하고, 연구사나 지도사로의 전직시험은 제1차시험과 제2차시험을 병합하여 선택형으로 실시한다.
