Special Act on the Promotion of Special Research and Development Zones, Article 7 (Special Research and Development Zone Committee)

① 특구의 육성에 관한 다음 각 호의 사항을 심의ㆍ의결하기 위하여 과학기술정보통신부에 연구개발특구위원회(이하 "위원회"라 한다)를 둔다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26, 2020.6.9, 2023.3.21>

1. 특구에 관한 주요정책과 제도에 관한 사항

② 위원회는 위원장 및 부위원장 각 1명을 포함하여 20명 이내의 위원으로 하되, 당연직 위원과 7명 이상의 위촉위원으로 구성한다.

(2) The^ð더 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 composed컴포우즈드 of어^v브 not낫 more모 than^ð댄 20 members,멤버즈 including인클루딩 one원 chairperson체어퍼슨 and앤드 one원 vice^v바이스 chairperson,체어퍼슨 consisting컨시스팅 of어^v브 ex엑스 officio어^f피시오 members멤버즈 and앤드 at앳 least리스트 seven세^v븐 commissioned커미션드 members.멤버즈

④ 당연직 위원은 중앙행정기관의 차관급 공무원 중에서 대통령령으로 정하는 사람이 된다.

⑤ 위촉위원은 특구의 발전 및 운영에 이바지할 수 있는 지식과 경험이 풍부한 사람 또는 신기술에 관한 전문지식과 경험이 풍부한 사람 중에서 위원장이 위촉한다. <개정 2020.6.9>

⑦ 제1항제6호의2에 관한 위원회의 업무를 효율적으로 수행ㆍ지원하기 위하여 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 위원회에 전문위원회를 둘 수 있다. <신설 2020.6.9>
