신용협동조합법 제72조(임원의 직무와 임기 등)

① 중앙회장은 중앙회를 대표하고 중앙회의 업무를 총괄한다. 다만, 제2항에 따라 신용ㆍ공제사업 대표이사가 전담하는 업무에 대해서는 그러하지 아니하다.

② 신용ㆍ공제사업 대표이사는 다음 각 호의 업무를 전담하여 처리하며, 그 업무에 관하여 중앙회를 대표한다.

(2) The^ð더 representative^r레프^r러젠터티^v브 director더^r렉터 for^f포 credit크^r레딧 and앤드 mutual뮤추얼 aid에이드 business비즈니스 shall섈 exclusively익스클루시^v블리 handle핸들 the^ð더 following^f팔로잉 affairs어^f페어즈 and앤드 represent^r레프^r리젠트 the^ð더 Federation^f페더^r레이션 with위^ð드 respect^r리스펙트 to투 those^ð도우즈 affairs:어^f페어즈

③ 신용ㆍ공제사업 대표이사는 소관 업무에 대하여 전문경영인으로서 신의에 따라 성실하게 직무를 수행하여야 하며, 정관에서 정하는 바에 따라 실시하는 경영평가 결과를 이사회 및 총회에 보고하여야 한다.

④ 검사ㆍ감독이사는 제78조제1항제3호에 따른 조합에 대한 검사ㆍ감독업무를 전담처리하며, 중앙회장은 검사ㆍ감독이사가 소관 업무를 독립적으로 수행할 수 있도록 권한의 위임 등 적절한 조치를 하여야 한다.

⑤ 중앙회장은 신용ㆍ공제사업 대표이사가 제3항에 따른 경영평가 결과 경영실적이 부진하여 그 직무를 담당하기 곤란하다고 인정되거나 이 법, 「금융소비자 보호에 관한 법률」(이하 "이 법등"이라 한다) 또는 이 법등에 따른 명령ㆍ정관 및 규정을 위반하는 행위를 한 경우에는 총회에 해임을 요구할 수 있다. <개정 2020.3.24>

⑥ 중앙회장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 정관에서 정하는 임원의 순으로 그 직무를 대행한다.

⑦ 임원의 임기는 4년으로 하며, 연임할 수 있다. 다만, 중앙회장의 경우 한 차례만 연임할 수 있다.

⑧ 중앙회의 임원에 대해서는 제27조의2, 제27조의3제1항, 제30조의2, 제31조제2항 및 제33조를 준용한다. <개정 2019.1.15, 2023.7.18, 2025.1.21>

⑨ 중앙회는 제71조의2제1항 및 제3항에 따라 선출하는 중앙회 임원 선거의 관리에 대하여 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 「선거관리위원회법」에 따른 중앙선거관리위원회(이하 이 항에서 "중앙선거관리위원회"라 한다)에 위탁할 수 있다. 다만, 중앙회장 선거의 관리에 대하여는 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 중앙선거관리위원회에 위탁하여야 한다. <신설 2023.7.18>
