Special Act on the Safety and Maintenance of Facilities, Article 5 (Establishment and Implementation of Master Plan for Safety and Maintenance of Facilities)

① 국토교통부장관은 시설물이 안전하게 유지관리될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 5년마다 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 관한 기본계획(이하 "기본계획"이라 한다)을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다.

(1) The^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Land,랜드 Infrastructure인^f프^r러스트^r럭처 and앤드 Transport트^r랜스포트 shall섈 establish이스태블리시 and앤드 implement임플러먼트 a어 master매스터 plan플랜 for^f포 the^ð더 safety세이^f프티 and앤드 maintenance메인터넌스 of어^v브 facilities^f퍼실러티즈 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð더 "master매스터 plan")플랜 every에^v버^r리 five^f파이^v브 years이어즈 so소우 that^ð댓 facilities^f퍼실러티즈 can캔 be비 safely세이^f플리 maintained.메인테인드

② 기본계획에는 다음 각 호의 사항이 포함되어야 한다.

3. 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 관한 정보체계의 구축ㆍ운영에 관한 사항

4. 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 필요한 기술의 연구ㆍ개발에 관한 사항

5. 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 필요한 인력의 양성에 관한 사항

6. 그 밖에 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 관하여 대통령령으로 정하는 사항

③ 국토교통부장관은 기본계획을 수립할 때에는 미리 관계 중앙행정기관의 장과 협의하여야 하며, 기본계획을 수립하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정되면 관계 중앙행정기관의 장 및 지방자치단체의 장에게 관련 자료를 제출하도록 요구할 수 있다. 기본계획을 변경할 때에도 또한 같다.

④ 국토교통부장관은 기본계획을 수립 또는 변경한 때에는 이를 관보에 고시하여야 한다.
