승강기 안전관리법 제28조(승강기의 설치검사)

① 승강기의 제조ㆍ수입업자는 설치를 끝낸 승강기(제18조제1호에 따라 승강기안전인증을 면제받은 승강기는 제외한다)에 대하여 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 행정안전부장관이 실시하는 설치검사(이하 "설치검사"라 한다)를 받아야 한다. <개정 2024.1.30>

② 승강기의 제조ㆍ수입업자 또는 관리주체는 설치검사를 받지 아니하거나 설치검사에 불합격한 승강기를 운행하게 하거나 운행하여서는 아니 된다.

③ 제1항과 제2항에서 규정한 사항 외에 설치검사의 기준ㆍ항목 및 방법 등에 필요한 사항은 행정안전부장관이 정하여 고시한다.
