수산업법 제97조(수산조정위원회의 구성과 운영)

① 제95조에 따른 수산조정위원회는 어업인의 대표 및 수산에 관한 학식과 경험이 풍부한 자들로 구성한다.

② 중앙수산조정위원회는 위원장 및 부위원장 각 1명을 포함한 23명 이내의 위원으로 구성한다. <개정 2023.10.31>

③ 중앙수산조정위원회의 위원장은 해양수산부차관이 되고, 부위원장은 해양수산부의 고위공무원단에 속하는 일반직공무원 중 해양수산부장관이 임명하는 자가 된다.

④ 중앙수산조정위원회의 위원의 선임, 위원의 임기, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.

⑤ 제96조제1항제1호 및 제2호에 따른 분쟁의 효율적이고 전문적인 조정을 위하여 중앙수산조정위원회에 어업조정위원회를 둘 수 있다. 이 경우 어업조정위원회의 조정은 중앙수산조정위원회의 조정으로 본다.

⑥ 시ㆍ도수산조정위원회, 시ㆍ군ㆍ구수산조정위원회 및 제5항에 따른 어업조정위원회의 구성 및 운영, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
