수산업법 제8조(마을어업 등의 면허)

① 마을어업은 일정한 지역에 거주하는 어업인의 공동이익을 증진하기 위하여 어촌계(漁村契)나 지구별수산업협동조합(이하 "지구별수협"이라 한다)에만 면허한다.

② 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 어업인의 공동이익과 일정한 지역의 어업개발을 위하여 필요하다고 인정하면 어촌계, 영어조합법인 또는 지구별수협에 마을어업 외의 어업을 면허할 수 있다.
