Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on the Preservation, Management, and Utilization of World Heritage, Article 3-6 (Designation and Operation of World Heritage Impact Assessment Institutions)

① 법 제11조의3제3항에서 "세계유산영향평가에 필요한 전문인력 등 대통령령으로 정하는 일정한 요건을 갖춘 기관 또는 법인"이란 다음 각 호의 요건을 모두 갖춘 기관 또는 법인을 말한다.

1. 다음 각 목의 어느 하나에 해당하는 기관 또는 법인일 것

나. 「고등교육법」 제2조에 따른 학교 및 그 밖에 이에 준하는 학교(부설 연구기관을 포함한다)

가. 국가유산ㆍ세계유산, 건축ㆍ토목, 도시계획ㆍ도시공학, 조경ㆍ경관ㆍ지질ㆍ생태 분야의 석사학위를 취득한 사람으로서 해당 분야에서 3년 이상 근무한 경력(석사학위를 취득하기 전의 근무 경력을 포함한다)이 있는 사람

다. 가목에 따른 분야에서 국가유산청장이 정하여 고시하는 기간 이상 근무한 경력이 있는 사람

② 세계유산영향평가기관으로 지정받으려는 기관 또는 법인은 국가유산청장이 정하여 고시하는 지정 신청서에 국가유산청장이 정하여 고시하는 서류를 첨부하여 국가유산청장에게 제출해야 한다.

③ 국가유산청장은 세계유산영향평가기관을 지정한 경우에는 국가유산청장이 정하여 고시하는 지정서를 해당 기관 또는 법인에 발급하고, 그 사실을 국가유산청의 인터넷 홈페이지에 게시해야 한다.

④ 세계유산영향평가기관 지정의 유효기간은 지정을 받은 날부터 5년으로 하며, 지정의 갱신을 신청하려는 경우에는 국가유산청장이 정하여 고시하는 지정 갱신 신청서를 유효기간이 끝나기 3개월 전까지 국가유산청장에게 제출해야 한다.

⑤ 국가유산청장은 지정의 유효기간이 끝나는 날의 5개월 전까지 세계유산영향평가기관에 문서, 전화, 문자전송, 전자우편, 팩스 등으로 지정의 갱신 절차와 기간 내에 갱신을 하지 않으면 유효기간이 만료된다는 사실을 미리 알려야 한다.
