선박법 제13조(국제톤수증서 등)

① 길이 24미터 이상인 한국선박의 소유자[그 선박이 공유(共有)로 되어 있는 경우에는 선박관리인, 그 선박이 대여된 경우에는 선박임차인을 말한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다]는 해양수산부장관으로부터 국제톤수증서(국제총톤수 및 순톤수를 적은 증서를 말한다. 이하 같다)를 발급받아 이를 선박 안에 갖추어 두지 아니하고는 그 선박을 국제항해에 종사하게 하여서는 아니 된다. <개정 2009.12.29, 2013.3.23>

② 해양수산부장관은 제1항에 따라 국제톤수증서의 발급신청을 받으면 해당 선박에 대하여 국제총톤수 및 순톤수를 측정한 후 그 신청인에게 국제톤수증서를 발급하여야 한다. <개정 2009.12.29, 2013.3.23>

④ 한국선박이 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하게 된 때에는 선박소유자는 그 사실을 안 날부터 30일 이내에 선적항을 관할하는 지방해양수산청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2009.12.29, 2018.12.31>

⑤ 길이 24미터 미만인 한국선박의 소유자가 그 선박을 국제항해에 종사하게 하려는 경우에는 해양수산부장관으로부터 국제톤수확인서[국제총톤수 및 순톤수를 적은 서면(書面)을 말한다. 이하 같다]를 발급받을 수 있다. <개정 2009.12.29, 2013.3.23>

⑥ 국제톤수확인서에 관하여는 제2항 및 제4항을 준용한다. 이 경우 "국제톤수증서"는 "국제톤수확인서"로, "길이가 24미터 미만"은 "길이가 24미터 이상"으로 본다. <개정 2009.12.29>
