사립학교법 제19조(임원의 직무)

Private School Act, Article 19 (Duties of Officers)

① 이사장은 학교법인을 대표하고 이 법과 정관에 규정된 직무를 수행하며 그 밖에 학교법인 내부의 사무를 총괄한다.

② 이사장이 궐위되거나 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 정관으로 정하는 바에 따르고, 정관에 규정이 없으면 이사회에서 호선한 다른 이사가 이사장의 직무를 대행한다.

③ 이사는 이사회에 출석하여 학교법인의 업무에 관한 사항을 심의ㆍ결정하며, 이사회 또는 이사장으로부터 위임받은 사항을 처리한다.

④ 감사는 다음 각 호의 직무를 수행한다.
