보호관찰 등에 관한 법률 시행규칙 제23조(보호관찰담당자의 지명 및 임무)

①보호관찰소의 장은 보호관찰대상자별로 담당보호관찰관을 지명하여 보호관찰을 담당하게 한다.

③보호관찰관은 보호관찰대상자의 자립과 건전한 사회복귀를 위하여 적절한 지도와 감독 및 원호를 하여야 한다.

④보호관찰관은 그 직무수행에 필요한 경우에는 범죄예방위원 또는 특별범죄예방위원에게 지원을 요청할 수 있다.

⑤보호관찰관은 보호관찰대상자에 대한 지도ㆍ감독ㆍ원호ㆍ조치상황ㆍ주요동태 및 준수사항의 이행여부등 보호관찰경과에 관한 중요한 사항을 보호관찰카드에 기재한다.

⑥보호관찰관은 제4항의 규정에 의하여 지원을 요청한 범죄예방위원 또는 특별범죄예방위원에 대하여 별지 제14호서식의 보호관찰경과통보서를 작성하여 매월 1회 통보하도록 요구할 수 있다.

⑦보호관찰관은 법 제32조제2항제4호의 규정에 의한 주거이전신고를 받은 때에는 지체없이 보호관찰대상자에 대한 보호관찰카드 기타 관계서류를 첨부하여 신주거지를 관할하는 보호관찰소의 장에게 통보하여야 한다.
