민주화운동기념사업회법 제2조(정의)

이 법에서 "민주화운동"이란 2ㆍ28대구민주화운동, 3ㆍ8대전민주의거, 3ㆍ15의거, 4ㆍ19혁명, 부ㆍ마항쟁, 인천5ㆍ3민주항쟁, 6ㆍ10항쟁 등 1948년 8월 15일 대한민국 정부수립 이후 헌법에 보장된 국민의 기본권을 침해한 권위주의적 통치에 항거하여 국민의 자유와 권리를 회복ㆍ신장시킨 활동으로서 대통령령으로 정하는 활동을 말한다. <개정 2013.5.22, 2023.8.16>
