산림청장 또는 관계 지방자치단체의 장은 이 법의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정하면 관계 행정기관의 장, 지방자치단체의 장 또는 관할 부대의 장에게 필요한 시책을 마련하거나 조치를 할 것을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 관계 행정기관의 장, 지방자치단체의 장 또는 관할 부대의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <개정 2020.2.18>
