Act on the Promotion and Facilitation of Use of Public Transportation, Article 10 (Measures for Priority Passage of Public Transportation Means)

①시장 또는 군수는 대중교통의 이용을 촉진하고 원활한 교통소통을 확보하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정되는 경우에는 관계 행정기관의 협의를 거쳐 노선버스 등 대중교통수단이 우선적으로 통행할 수 있도록 다음 각호의 조치를 하여야 한다. <개정 2020.6.9>

②국토교통부장관은 고속도로에서의 대중교통수단의 우선통행 및 원활한 소통을 확보하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정되는 경우에는 버스전용차로의 설치를 경찰청장에게 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 경찰청장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 그 요청을 따라야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2020.6.9>
