농촌진흥법 제1조(목적)

이 법은 국가의 기본 산업인 농업의 발전과 농업인의 복지 향상 및 농촌자원의 효율적 활용을 도모하기 위하여 농업ㆍ농업인ㆍ농촌과 관련된 과학기술의 연구개발ㆍ보급, 농촌지도, 교육훈련 및 국제협력에 관한 사항을 규정함으로써 농촌지역의 진흥과 국가발전에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.
