농어촌마을 주거환경 개선 및 리모델링 촉진을 위한 특별법 제41조(보고 및 검사 등)

① 농림축산식품부장관, 해양수산부장관 또는 지방자치단체의 장은 정비사업에 필요하다고 인정하는 때에는 사업시행자에게 필요한 보고를 하게 하거나 자료의 제출을 명할 수 있으며, 소속 공무원에게 사업시행자의 사무실, 사업장, 그 밖에 필요한 장소에 출입하여 정비사업에 관한 업무와 회계에 관한 사항을 검사하거나 관계인에게 질문하게 할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따른 검사를 하는 경우에는 검사 7일 전까지 검사일시, 검사목적 및 검사내용 등에 관한 검사계획을 해당 사업시행자에게 알려야 한다. 다만, 긴급한 경우 또는 검사계획을 미리 알리면 증거인멸 등으로 검사목적을 달성할 수 없다고 인정하는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.
