① 수산물의 수급조절 등에 관한 사항을 심의하기 위하여 해양수산부에 수산물수급조절위원회를 둔다.

② 수산물수급조절위원회는 다음 각 호의 사항을 심의한다.

③ 수산물수급조절위원회는 위원장 2명을 포함한 21명 이내의 위원으로 구성하고, 위원장은 해양수산부장관이 지명하는 고위공무원단에 속하는 공무원과 공무원이 아닌 위원 중에서 위원들이 호선하는 사람이 된다.

④ 수산물수급조절위원회의 위원은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람 중에서 해양수산부장관이 임명하거나 위촉한다. 이 경우 제2호에 해당하는 위원의 수가 전체 위원 수의 3분의 1 이상이 되어야 한다.
