노인장기요양보험법 시행규칙 제31조(장기요양 급여비용의 심사ㆍ지급)

① 공단은 장기요양 급여비용의 청구를 받은 경우에는 법 제38조제2항에 따라 다음 각 호의 사항에 적합한지를 심사한다. 이 경우 공단의 이사장은 심사를 수행함에 있어 필요하면 소속 직원으로 하여금 현지를 방문하여 확인하게 할 수 있다.

② 공단은 장기요양 급여비용의 청구를 받은 날부터 30일 이내에 이를 심사하여 그 내용이 기재된 장기요양급여비용 심사지급통보서를 전자문서교환방식 등을 통하여 장기요양기관에 통보하여야 하며, 그 심사지급통보서에 기재된 장기요양급여비용을 해당 장기요양기관에 지체 없이 지급하여야 한다. 이 경우 심사기간을 산정함에 있어 공단의 이사장이 해당 장기요양기관에 심사에 필요한 자료를 요청한 경우 등 특별한 사유가 있는 경우에는 그에 소요되는 기간은 제외한다.
