(1) Votes shall be decided by recorded electronic voting. However, when there are special circumstances, such as a malfunction of the voting equipment, the vote may be decided by standing, and where a member has difficulty standing, the vote may be decided, with the Speaker's permission, by a method through which that member can express his or her own intention.

(3) The Speaker may ask whether there is any objection to an agenda item, and if the Speaker finds that there is none, may declare it passed. However, if there is an objection, the vote shall be taken by the method under paragraph (1) or (2).

However, this shall not apply where the Speaker has consulted with the representative member of each negotiating group regarding the resignation of a member due to a concurrent office or the resignation of a chairperson.
(6) Unless otherwise specifically provided by Act, elections held in the National Assembly shall be by secret ballot. If no one is elected as a result of the voting, a run-off ballot shall be held between the candidate with the most votes and the candidate with the second most votes, and the person who obtains more votes shall be elected. However, if the number of votes is equal, the older candidate shall be elected.

A motion recommending dismissal that is not voted on within that period shall be deemed discarded.
