국어기본법 시행령 제18조(국어능력의 검정방법)

① 법 제23조제1항에 따른 국어능력의 검정은 다음 각 호의 모든 분야에 대하여 시험을 실시하는 것으로 한다.

② 문화체육관광부장관은 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에 국어능력 검정시험의 출제ㆍ시행ㆍ채점 및 관리에 관한 업무를 다음 각 호의 요건을 갖춘 전문기관이나 단체로 하여금 수행하게 할 수 있다.

③ 문화체육관광부장관 또는 제2항에 따라 국어능력 검정시험 업무를 수행하는 기관이나 단체는 국어능력 검정을 실시하였을 때에는 그 검정 결과를 응시자에게 통지하거나 응시자가 열람할 수 있게 하여야 한다.
