국어기본법 시행령 제14조(한국어교육능력 검정시험 실시)

① 문화체육관광부장관은 외국어로서의 한국어교육의 질을 높이기 위하여 매년 1회 이상 한국어교육능력 검정시험을 실시하여야 한다.

② 문화체육관광부장관은 제1항에 따른 한국어교육능력 검정시험(이하 "한국어교육능력 검정시험"이라 한다)을 실시할 때에는 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 시행 일시 및 장소를 시험 시행일 90일 전까지 공고하여야 한다.

③ 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 영역 및 검정 방법은 별표 2와 같다.

④ 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 합격자는 필기시험에서 각 영역의 40퍼센트 이상, 전 영역 총점의 60퍼센트 이상 득점하고 면접시험에 합격한 사람으로 한다.

(4) Successful석세스^f플 candidates캔더데잇츠 in인 the^ð더 Korean코^r리언 language랭궈지 teaching티칭 ability어빌러티 certification서터^f퍼케이션 examination이그재머네이션 are아 persons퍼슨즈 who후 score스코 at앳 least리스트 40 percent퍼센트 in인 each이치 area에^r리아 and앤드 at앳 least리스트 60 percent퍼센트 of어^v브 the^ð더 total토우틀 score스코 of어^v브 all올 areas에^r리어즈 in인 the^ð더 written^r리튼 examination이그재머네이션 and앤드 who후 pass패스 the^ð디 interview인터^v뷰 examination.이그재머네이션

⑤ 문화체육관광부장관은 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 출제ㆍ시행ㆍ채점 및 관리에 관한 업무를 다음 각 호의 요건을 갖춘 관련 전문기관이나 단체로 하여금 수행하게 할 수 있다.

(5) The^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Culture,컬처 Sports스포츠 and앤드 Tourism투^r리점 may메이 have해^v브 a어 relevant^r렐러^v번트 specialized스페셜라이즈드 institution인스티투션 or오 organization오거너제이션 that^ð댓 meets밋츠 the^ð더 following^f팔로잉 requirements^r리콰이어먼츠 carry캐^r리 out아웃 the^ð더 work워크 of어^v브 setting세팅 questions퀘스천즈 for,^f포 administering,애드미니스터^r링 grading,그^r레이딩 and앤드 managing매너징 the^ð더 Korean코^r리언 language랭궈지 teaching티칭 ability어빌러티 certification서터^f퍼케이션 examination:이그재머네이션

⑥ 부정한 방법으로 시험에 응시한 사람 또는 시험에서 부정한 행위를 한 사람에 대해서는 해당 시험을 정지하거나 무효로 하고, 그 처분이 있었던 날부터 3년간 시험의 응시자격을 정지한다.

⑦ 필기시험에 합격한 사람에 대해서는 합격한 해의 다음 회 시험에 대해서만 필기시험을 면제한다.

⑧ 한국어교육능력 검정시험에 응시하려는 사람은 문화체육관광부장관이 정하는 응시 수수료를 내야 한다.

⑨ 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 응시 수수료, 환불, 그 밖에 한국어교육능력 검정시험의 운영에 필요한 사항은 문화체육관광부장관이 정하여 고시한다.
