국방개혁에 관한 법률 시행령 제5조(위원회의 운영)

①위원회의 위원장(이하 "위원장"이라 한다)은 위원회를 대표하며, 위원회의 업무를 통할한다.

②위원회의 부위원장은 국방부차관이 되며, 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 그 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 그 직무를 대행한다.

(2) The^ð더 vice^v바이스 chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 the^ð더 Vice^v바이스 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 National내셔늘 Defense,디^f펜스 who후 shall섈 act액트 on안 behalf비해^f프 of어^v브 the^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 where웨어 the^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 is이즈 unable어네이블 to투 perform퍼^f폼 his히즈 or오 her허 duties두티즈 due두 to투 unavoidable어너^v보이더블 circumstances.서컴스탠시즈

③위원장은 위원회의 회의를 소집하고 그 의장이 된다.

(3) The^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 convene컨^v빈 meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Committee커미티 and앤드 preside프^r리자이드 over오우^v버 them.^ð뎀

④위원장이 위원회를 소집하고자 할 때에는 회의의 일시ㆍ장소 및 심의 안건을 정하여 회의 개최일 7일 전까지 각 위원에게 서면으로 통지하여야 한다. 다만, 긴급한 경우에는 7일 이내에 구두로 통보할 수 있다.

⑤위원회의 회의는 위원장을 포함한 재적위원 과반수의 출석으로 개의하고, 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.

(5) Meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 duly둘리 formed^f폼드 with위^ð드 the^ð디 attendance어텐든스 of어^v브 a어 majority머조^r러티 of어^v브 the^ð더 registered^r레지스터드 members,멤버즈 including인클루딩 the^ð더 chairperson,체어퍼슨 and앤드 resolutions^r레절루션즈 shall섈 be비 passed패스트 with위^ð드 the^ð더 concurring컨커^r링 vote^v보우트 of어^v브 a어 majority머조^r러티 of어^v브 the^ð더 members멤버즈 present.프^r레전트

⑥위원회의 사무를 처리하기 위하여 간사 1인을 두되, 간사는 위원장이 지명하는 고위공무원단 소속 공무원 또는 장성급(將星級) 장교가 된다. <개정 2017.9.5>

(6) The^ð더 Committee커미티 shall섈 have해^v브 one원 secretary세크^r러테^r리 to투 handle핸들 its잇츠 affairs,어^f페어즈 who후 shall섈 be비 a어 public퍼블릭 official어^f피실 in인 the^ð더 Senior시니어 Civil시^v블 Service서^v비스 or오 a어 general-grade제너^r럴-그^r레이드 officer오^f퍼서 designated데지그네이티드 by바이 the^ð더 chairperson.체어퍼슨

⑦위원회는 직무를 수행하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 관계 행정기관의 장ㆍ연구기관ㆍ단체 등에 대하여 자료 또는 의견의 제출 등을 요구할 수 있으며, 관계 공무원 또는 전문가를 참석하게 하여 의견을 들을 수 있다.

⑧위원회의 회의에 출석하는 위원 또는 전문가 등에게는 예산의 범위 안에서 수당과 여비를 지급할 수 있다. 다만, 공무원인 위원 또는 관계 공무원이 그 소관업무와 직접 관련하여 출석하는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.

⑨이 영에서 규정한 것 외에 위원회 운영에 필요한 사항은 위원회의 의결을 거쳐 위원장이 정한다.

(9) Except익셉트 as애즈 provided프^r러^v바이디드 in인 this^ð디스 Decree,디크^r리 matters매터즈 necessary네서세^r리 for^f포 the^ð디 operation아퍼^r레이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 determined디터먼드 by바이 the^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 following^f팔로잉 a어 resolution^r레절루션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Committee.커미티
