국가과학기술 경쟁력 강화를 위한 이공계지원 특별법 제16조(기업 등의 이공계인력의 활용 지원)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 「중소기업기본법」 제2조에 따른 중소기업, 「벤처기업육성에 관한 특별법」 제2조의2에 따른 벤처기업 및 「협동연구개발촉진법」 제2조제3호에 따른 과학기술인 협동조합이 미취업상태에 있는 이공계 석사학위ㆍ박사학위를 취득한 사람 또는 「국가기술자격법」에 따른 기술사 자격을 취득한 사람을 채용하는 경우 예산의 범위에서 재정지원을 하거나 조세 관계 법률에서 정하는 바에 따라 세금 감면 등 필요한 지원을 할 수 있다. <개정 2015.3.11, 2024.1.9>

② 정부는 이공계인력의 활용을 촉진하기 위하여 「기업부설연구소등의 연구개발 지원에 관한 법률」 제7조제1항에 따라 인정받은 기업부설연구소를 설치ㆍ운영하는 중소기업에 대하여 대통령령으로 정하는 지원을 할 수 있다. <개정 2016.3.22, 2025.1.31>
