국가공간정보 기본법 제30조(공간정보 목록정보의 작성)

① 관리기관의 장은 해당 기관이 구축ㆍ관리하고 있는 공간정보에 관한 목록정보(정보의 내용, 특징, 정확도, 다른 정보와의 관계 등 정보의 특성을 설명하는 정보를 말한다. 이하 "목록정보"라 한다)를 제21조에 따른 공간정보와 관련한 표준 또는 기술기준에 따라 작성 또는 관리하도록 노력하여야 한다. <개정 2014.6.3>

② 관리기관의 장은 해당 기관이 구축ㆍ관리하고 있는 목록정보를 특별한 사유가 없으면 국토교통부장관에게 수시로 제출하여야 한다. 다만, 관리기관이 공공기관일 경우는 제출하기 전에 주무기관의 장과 미리 협의하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2020.6.9>
