교육공무원법 제47조(정년)

① 교육공무원의 정년은 62세로 한다. 다만, 「고등교육법」 제14조에 따른 교원인 교육공무원의 정년은 65세로 한다.

② 교육공무원(임기가 있는 교육공무원을 포함한다)은 그 정년에 이른 날이 3월에서 8월 사이에 있는 경우에는 8월 31일에, 9월에서 다음 해 2월 사이에 있는 경우에는 다음 해 2월 말일에 각각 당연히 퇴직한다.
