공공단체등 위탁선거에 관한 법률 제42조(투표용지)

① 투표용지에는 후보자의 기호와 성명을 표시하되, 기호는 후보자의 게재순위에 따라 "1, 2, 3" 등으로 표시하고, 성명은 한글로 기재하여야 한다. 다만, 한글로 표시된 성명이 같은 후보자가 있는 경우에는 괄호 속에 한자를 함께 기재한다.

② 관할위원회는 후보자등록마감 후에 후보자 또는 그 대리인의 참여하에 투표용지에 게재할 후보자의 순위를 추첨의 방법으로 정하여야 한다. 다만, 추첨개시시각에 후보자 또는 그 대리인이 참여하지 아니하는 경우에는 관할위원회 위원장이 지정하는 사람이 그 후보자를 대리하여 추첨할 수 있다.

③ 투표용지는 인쇄하거나 투표용지 발급기를 이용하여 출력하는 방법으로 작성할 수 있다.
